I am a passionate young Bharatanatyam artist from Tamil Nadu, India, and I have dedicated myself to the study and practice of one of India's oldest and most revered classical dance traditions. Through years of disciplined training, I have developed a strong foundation in both technique and expression, embracing Bharatanatyam as a lifelong journey of learning, devotion, and cultural preservation.
My artistic journey reflects my deep respect for the Guru-Shishya Parampara and my unwavering commitment to excellence. Every performance is an opportunity for me to celebrate India's rich cultural heritage and to connect with audiences through the universal language of dance.
THE STEPS THAT SHAPED ME
I am currently studying 10th Standard at Velammal Vidyashram, Maraimalai Nagar, where I balance my academic pursuits with my dedicated training in Bharatanatyam.
First Steps
My journey in Bharatanatyam began at Balasaraswati Institute of Fine Arts, Chennai, the first step in what has become a lifelong devotion to this classical art.
A Traditional Foundation
I had the privilege of training under Guru Shri Anirudh Knight, grandson of Padma Vibhushan T. Balasaraswati, where I built a strong classical foundation rooted in authenticity, discipline, and devotion.
Broadening Her Craft
I further pursued advanced training under Guru Dr. Preetha at Sri Abinaya Naatyalaya, refining my technique, versatility, and stagecraft while learning across multiple banis.
Continuing the Journey
Today, I continue my training with dedication while balancing my academic life. With every performance and every lesson, I strive to grow as a responsible ambassador of India's rich cultural heritage.

Artist Statement
Bharatanatyam is much more than a dance form to me—it is my way of expressing devotion, gratitude, and joy. Every practice session teaches me discipline, patience, and humility, while every performance allows me to connect with the audience through stories, emotions, and spirituality.
I believe that Bharatanatyam is a timeless gift passed down through generations. My dream is to continue learning from my Gurus, preserve our rich cultural traditions, and represent Indian classical dance with pride on national and international stages.
